James H. Bolt Sr., 80, of Arnold passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021. He was born in New Kensington, on September 9, 1940 to the late Harold E. Sr. and Sarah K. Verner Bolt.

James enjoyed reading the newspaper daily, fishing, and playing various card and board games, including Yahtzee. He often could be found in the garage working with his hands or “tinkering” with a carpentry project. Mr. Bolt had a love for animals, especially his own cats and dogs.

James is survived by his sons, James H. Bolt Jr., Daniel D. (Charity) Bolt, Raymond R. Bolt, and Michael W. Bolt; grandchildren, Jamie (Matt) Rocca, Joseph Martin, and Franklin Martin; great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Charlotte Rocca; and siblings, Bill, Bob, Ray, Irene, and Nancy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet E. Stanley Bolt; daughter, Brenda Lee Martin; siblings, Harold, Mae, Kenny, Leroy, Marge, Esther, Eugene, and Sarah Jane.
