Jacqueline Lee (Miller) Humes, 86, of Indiana Township died at home on January 22, 2024, due to natural causes. 
She was born on October 5, 1937 in New Kensington to the late Bower Leroy and Sarah Faye (Dickey) Miller.  

Jackie grew up in New Kensington and was a graduate of Ken-Hi Class of 1955.  She married and eventually moved to Indiana Township where she raised her four children and grandson, Cory Humes.  She was an avid bowler, bowling in many women’s leagues throughout the Alle-Kiski Valley.  She was a huge sports fan who enjoyed attending Pittsburgh Penguin, Pirate and Panther games, always keeping statistics.  She had a passion for reading, enjoyed visiting with family and playing card games.   

Jackie will be greatly missed by her sister Judith (Miller) Feil of Columbus, OH: her husband William Humes of Sun City Center, FL and her four children, Jeffrey L Humes of New Kensington; Kimberly S (Humes) Hartz (Larry Hartz) of Cumberland, MD; Christopher J Humes (Annette Italiano) of Geneva, IL and Molly A Humes of Columbus, IN; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. 
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Howard Miller.  

The family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate Jackie’s life in the spring.  ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., of New Kensington was entrusted with the arrangements.
