Gerald Brian Fields

Gerald Brian Fields, 68, of Arnold, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

He was born in Monongalia County, West Virginia, on September 11, 1956, to the late Ewing Benjamin and Wanda Ellen Metheny Fields, and was a 1975 graduate of Connellsville High School, and then received his Associate Degree from Westmoreland County Community College.  

Mr. Fields was an audiophile and an artist, dedicated to sci-fi and sound.  He worked as a specialist at The Stereo Shop and Audio Communications for many years.  He loved reading, drawing, computers, listening to music and watching movies with his children.  His quirky sense of humor and influence left a mark on those he met.  

He is survived by three children, Orion, Denev and Isabelle Fields, a sister, Lucinda Diane Fields, and four grandchildren, Tyler, Camden, Adeliene, and Rileigh.  

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Heidi Renee Fields and a brother in infancy.  

Viewing will be on Friday, July 11, from 10AM until 11AM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
