Gary E. Hecker

Gary E. Hecker, 76, of Arnold, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born in New Kensington on March 16, 1945 to the late Eugene & Rose Miller Hecker.

 Gary was a 1963 graduate of Arnold High School and held a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris College.  He was a veteran of the Army and served during the Vietnam War.

Gary was previously employed with Gulf Oil and Chevron and retired from Allegheny Ludlum (Allegheny Teledyne) Industries.

He belonged to the New Kensington Hunter’s and Fisherman’s Club and the Eagles.  He enjoyed car shows and socializing with friends at the club.

Surviving are his siblings Deborah (Thomas) Lesney of Frazer Township, and their son Nathan, and Margie (Raymond) Kowalski of Virginia Beach, VA and their sons Chris and Nick.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, August 16, from 2 p.m. until services at 6:00 p.m. in Ross G. Walker Funeral Home Ltd, 217 Freeport Rd., New Kensington.  Interment will be private in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gary’s memory to the New Kensington Hunter’s and Fisherman’s Club, 2400 Constitution Blvd., New Kensington, PA  15068.
