Francis J. Flemm Jr. 88, of Lower Burrell died on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born February 7, 1934 in Hollidays Cove, Weirton, WV to the late Francis J. Sr. and Lucy (Hurlburt) Flemm, and relocated to the New Kensington Area in the 1940’s. After graduation he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps at Braeburn Steel. Francis was a steadfast worker and witnessed the rise of technology and changes in the steel industry maintaining a career as a steelworker for over 30 years. A loyal football fan to the black & gold, he loved watching the Steelers and never missed a chance to make memories boating with friends in the summer. Francis was a man of strength who believed in good character, hard work, and will be forever remembered for his unfaltering loyalty to his family.
He is survived by his two sons, John E. (Linda) Flemm and David A. Flemm; his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, David, and Candice D. Flemm; and beloved great grandchildren, Zakary and Zoey.
In addition to his parents, he joins his grandson, Michael Flemm in his next phase.
