Obituary
Faye C. Schrayer, 95, of Washington Township, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, peacefully, at home.
She was born April 7, 1927 in New Kensington, to the late Arthur & Josephine (Shawley) Wilson, and was a 50 year resident of Washington Township.
Mrs. Schrayer was a secretary for ALCOA, then for Gulf Research, Harmarville. Most recently she worked for the Bituminous Coal Research in Monroeville. She and her husband also spent eight years in Germany during their working careers. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathryn Poziriak, and son Grover J. (Allison J.) Schrayer; granddaughter, Amy Rosswog; and two great-granddaughters, Amanda (Nick) Kotyk and Melissa LeClair.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover J. Schrayer, Jr., and siblings, Gerry Zelley, Shirley Fazekas and Russell Wilson.
ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME of New Kensington was entrusted with private arrangements for Mrs. Schrayer.
