Elizabeth (Hudacek) Norris

Elizabeth Norris, 62, of New Kensington, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. 

She was born October 25, 1962 in Pittsburgh to Linda Hanly Hudacek Schecht of New Kensington and the late Jacob Hudacek. She was a 1980 graduate of Valley High School and graduated from Newport Business College.  

Mrs. Norris was the Human Resource and Payroll Director of National Health Management, Pittsburgh, for over 20 years.  

She was a member of The River 15068 Church and Bridges Out Of Poverty.  She enjoyed collecting antiques, hosting events and parties at their home, and decorating their home.  Their home was featured in several publications for their outstanding Christmas decorations.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of 12 years, Garret D. Norris; two sons, Jesse James Norris of Freeport and Marty Lee Norris of Sarver; sister-in-law, Rene K. “Chip” Conner of East Brady; and brother-in-law, Mark Norris.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, and her brother Thomas Hudacek.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, August 19, from 10am until services at 1pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Reverend Dean Ward will officiate.  Private burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
