Doris Toney Obituary

Doris J. Toney, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2018. Born June 14, 1931 to the late John and Agnes Kuznicki Rosati, she was a graduate of Arnold High School. Mrs. Toney was member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington and enjoyed visiting casinos. She was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Steelers. She especially loved spending time with her family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mike Toney who died in 2005, her son Michael R.Toney who died in 2015 and a grandchild, Justin. Surviving is her son, Richard A. (Kim) Toney of Cheswick; grandchildren, Jason and Josh, Chelsea, Ashley, Ricky, Hayley, Austin; great grandchildren, Josh Jr., Maverick, and Talia; her brother, Eugene (Charlene) Rosati of Arnold; daughter-in-law Rochelle; and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held Thursday at 9:30am followed by a funeral Mass at 10am in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
