Donald "Doc" Charles Wetzel, Jr.

Donald "Doc" C Wetzel, Jr., 73, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025.

Doc was born on December 3, 1951 to the late Donald C Wetzel, Sr. and Laura (Wetzel) Callen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol E. (Ohl) Wetzel, of 51 years; daughters, Holly Wetzel (Michael McGregor) and Sue (Dave) Roudebush; siblings Rebecca Hazlett and Sandra Carroll; brother-in-law William (Pam) Ohl; and many nieces and nephews.
He retired from Allegheny Ludlum after 30 years as a craneman and repairman. He had a passion for motorcycles and cars. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Doc most enjoyed traveling around the country with his wife and dog, Levi, in their RV, as well as, winters in Arizona.
Doc was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Lloyd and Margaret Ohl.
Per Doc’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held in his memory on October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Harvest Baptist Church, 224 Harvest Lane, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
