Dollie L. (Jarnagin) Cheatham

Dollie L. Cheatham, 76, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024.

She was born in Bethlehem on February 18, 1948 to the late Horace E. Jarnagin Jr., and Betty Jean McCoy Garrison Jarnagin Parker, and was a 1966 graduate of Ken-Hi.  

Mrs. Cheatham was a secretary to a judge in the Westmoreland County Courthouse, a secretary at H.J. Heinz Company, a stewardess for Eastern Airlines and a customer service representative for J.C. Penney Company, did home health care, and was a model for a Pittsburgh modeling agency.

She was a lifetime member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of New Kensington and a daughter of the I.B.P.O.E. of the World.  

Survivors include her son, Casey E. Crayton; siblings, Garry Lee Garrison (Sylvia) and Edwin “E.J.” Jarnagin; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Cheatham; and a brother, Horace E. Jarnagin III

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12 noon until time of service at 2pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
