Dianne Sue (Brink) Erb

Dianne Sue (Brink) Erb, 74, of New Kensington died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on the early morning of Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born November 19, 1947 in New Kensington to the late Walter and Jessie (Smathers) Brink Sr.

Dianne was a graduate of Ken-Hi, Class of 1967 and was a laborer at Papercraft, and later was the friendly face behind the deli counter and worked in the produce department at Community Market.  Dianne came into this world as a little firecracker, feisty, fun, and the ultimate free spirit.  She spent her childhood tap dancing and performing ballet pliés with her identical twin sister, having a blast but standing always stubbornly on her ground being a tough little girl.  She grew to be the kindest most compassionate caretaker; tender -hearted mother and grandmother, and deeply devoted wife.  Whether she was lounging in the pool with her giant cup of coffee working on her tan while grooving to the oldies, or becoming engrossed in a scary movie or Lifetime movie classic, she was always putting others before herself, a continuous source of great comfort and strong leadership in her family.  

She will be missed daily and forever remembered for her grace, beauty, and fierce love she had for her surviving family; her beloved husband of nearly 45 years, Edward E. Erb; precious children, Shannon (Scott) Morrow, Edward W. (Vicki) Erb, Jessica (Roy) Erb, and Jacob (Melissa) Erb; cherished grandchildren, Amya, Savannah, Christian, Eric, Jacob, Braelynn, Ace, Brooklyn, and Price; and her identical twin sister, Darlene Jendrejewski.

In addition to her parents, she will be welcomed in to her next phase by her son, Kenny Rhodes, who died in infancy, siblings; Doyle Brink, Doris Cesaretti, Allen Brink, Walter “Johnny” Brink Jr., Arthur Brink, and Gary Brink in infancy; and her favorite pooch, Hambone.
