Diane Stripay, 70, of Logans Ferry Heights, Plum Borough, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in New Kensington on September 25, 1954, to the late Daniel & Regina Shrum Daugherty, and was a 1972 graduate of Plum High School.
Mrs. Stripay was a retired stamper for Leeds in Upper Burrell Township for 20 years. The past two years she was a school bus driver for Roenigk Bus Company. She enjoyed hockey and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of almost 33 years, Chris Stripay; children, Christa Martin of New Kensington and Jesse (Aly) Matkovich of Gibsonia; four grandchildren, Anthony and Tyler Matkovich, Briana and Noah Von Hofen; and her brother Dennis Daugherty.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Daugherty.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 5-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Wednesday at 11AM. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Ward. Private burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
