Diana Lee Durand

Diana Lee Durand, 58, of Arnold, died Thursday, March 14, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.  

She was born November 7, 1965 in New Kensington to the late Glen & Shirley Whitehead Durand, and was a graduate of Valley High School.  

Ms. Durand was a Certified Nurses Aide for Pine View Rest Home and West Haven Nursing Home.  

She enjoyed playing bingo, going to yard sales and doing her nails, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.  

Surviving are her children, Brittany (Robert) Patrick, Maurice (Michelle) Booker, Allen (Chelsea) Booker, Courtney Booker and Natawsha Durand; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Tracy Durand, Nancy Black, John Durand and Charles (Coshell) Durand; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and David Durand; and a niece, Sarah Durand.

Viewing will be held at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1150 Asa W. Roberts Way (formerly Fourth Avenue), New Kensington on Wednesday, March 20, from 10AM until services commence at 11am. Rev. Antoinette Houser Perkins will preach the eulogy.  ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME was entrusted with all of her arrangements.
