Denise Ann (Verzinskie) Norman

Denise Ann Norman, 60, of Armold, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.  She was born January 6, 1966 in Penn Hills, where she was the proud Valedictorian of the Penn Hills High School Class of 1983. Denise was a widow to Karl “Chiefy” Norman whom she loved and cherished deeply. Their bond was unmatched. Denise was a loving mother to two children son Karl “KJ” Unterberger (Marianne) and daughter Keri Norman, and was the dedicated and loving grandmother to Ariona Norman and Gaven Sarp.  Also survived by her younger sister, Diane Hagerich (Paul), and family extended to numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, all of whom she cared for with love, warmth and generosity. She truly loved and cared for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Linda Verzinskie and brother Norman Verzinskie Jr., 

Denise had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her three beloved cats. If you knew her, you knew her passion for animals and her ability to make anyone smile with her stories and kindness. She was always ready to help others, often giving the shirt off her back to those in need. Denise loved movies, game shows, her soaps, trivia and reading. She loved to have conversations, she could talk to anyone and brighten their day. Her wisdom and resourcefulness meant she always found a solution to any problem, and if she didn't have one, she would figure it out. She was always there for you no matter what, no matter the time, no matter wherever, she was there. She loved her Sprite, chocolate and pretzels. She also had the funniest sense of humor. The stories are endless. The memories we will forever cherish.
