Debra Jean (Burkett) Tallerico

Debra Jean Tallerico, 66, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  

She was born in Cleveland, OH on July 19, 1957, and was preceded in death by her parents, David & Doris Burkett Mitchell; and a brother, James David Mitchell.  

Debra was a 1975 graduate of Burrell High School where she was a majorette, and was an Upper Burrell Shamrock.  She was totally devoted to her family.  

Surviving are daughters, Jamie (Justin) Wagner of New Kensington and Sammie Tallerico of Arnold; grandchildren, Karleena, Joseph, Vatoria and Antonio; great-granddaughter, Venus Tallerico; siblings, Walter, Clarissa and Gayle Mitchell; and nieces, Kayla Kerchensky and Kendra Mitchell.  

Viewing will be Monday, Sept. 18, from 5-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 19, 
at 11 AM.  Rev. Dean Ward will officiate.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
