David Timothy "Timmy" Trent

David Timothy “Timmy” Trent Jr., of New Kensington, PA was called home at the tender age of 39, due to heart complications, with his devoted wife, Jonelle, by his side on Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born on June 12, 1982 to David Timothy Trent Sr. and Teresa Burrell Houser.

Affectionately known as Timmy, he commanded a presence in every room he entered with his contagious smile and uncanny ability to make everyone laugh. He possessed a talent for cutting hair and music moved his soul. Timmy’s sweet spirit followed him wherever he went, speaking the truth and preaching the good word of the Lord. He dreamt of becoming a pastor, and as one of his favorite passages, Psalm 91, states, “He will call on me, and I will answer Him.” In Timmy’s short bodily life here on earth, he showed and lived his salvation until the day he was led into His kingdom of everlasting life. He will forever be remembered for his deep pride, fierce faith in God, and never faltering to put his family first. 

He will be so deeply missed by all lives that he touched, especially his wife of six years, Jonelle Trent; children, Taylynn Mathews, David “Charlie” Trent, Jonelle McCandless, Aliviah Treich, and Amyah Wissinger; mother, Teresa Burrell (James A. Jr.) Houser; father, David Timothy Sr. (Kim Marie) Trent; siblings, Andrae (Lacey) Trent, Brandon Trent, Brittany Trent, Bridget Trent, Breona Trent, Tanisha Trent, Jacquees Trent Lloyd, Chelsi Trent, Christopher Russell, Quandalina Russell, Tawny Bay, Dolores Bay, Kayla Pryor, Alexis Pryor, Avery Bailey, Eugene Bailey, Tyler Bassett, James A. Houser III, and Tristan Houser; grandmothers, Janice Burrell and Barbara Trent; Mama DeeDee; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Keyane Houser; grandfathers, Bishop Maurice C. Trent Sr., Richard Turner, and James A. “Pap” Houser Sr.; grandmother, Shirley I. Houser.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Real Life Church, 1825 Freeport Road, Arnold. His Uncle, Rev. Maurice C.
