Daniel Kedzierski Obituary

Daniel F. Kedzierski, 88, of Montgomery, AL, and formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018. He was born October 16, 1929, in New Kensington, to the late Anthony and Anna Kaczmarek Kedzierski. Daniel began his military service in the Naval Reserve in 1948, and then served in the United States Air Force. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and during his last tour of duty he was a team member of the Senior NCO Academy at Gunter Air Force Base, Montgomery, as a Chief Master Sergeant. He was also a faithful member of St. Bede Catholic Church. Daniel is survived by his twin brother, Joseph Kedzierski of Marietta, GA and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his siblings, Florian, Edward, Stanley, Leon, Clara Kedzierski, and Alice Planavsky. Viewing will be Wednesday, from 6-8PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD (successor to John F. Krupa Funeral Home), 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held Thursday at 9:30AM followed by a funeral Mass at 10AM in St Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington,  celebrated by Father John Szczesny.  Burial with Military Honors accorded by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard in St Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell, will follow. Those desiring may make donations to Hospice of Montgomery, St Bede Catholic Church or Angels for the Elderly, all of Montgomery.
