Cynthia L. Carter, 67, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
She was born June 8, 1958 in Natrona Heights.
Mrs. Carter was a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and assisted many older people with their care. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting blankets, dancing, and flower and vegetable gardening,
Surviving are her children, Kirsten M. Carter of Verona, Deborah L. (David) McKain of Butler, and Paula A. (Justin) Romandy of Seffner, FL; grandchildren, Paul (Courtney), Alexander, Delaney, Nora (Christian), Paige (Craig), Mya, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Mila, Carter, Mateo and Ophelia; and her siblings, Raymond P. (Penny) Rusz of Apollo, Karen S. (Albert) Jenniches of New Kensington and Rick (Mary) Deemer of Natrona Heights.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Paul Carter in 2024; her mother, Joan Kaperzinski Rusz; grandson, Devin; and a brother Leonard “Lenny” Rusz.
Viewing will be Friday, May 15, 2026, from 1pm until services at 4pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
