Clifford Harold Sharer, Jr.

Clifford H. Sharer, Jr., 76, formerly of New Kensington, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023.
He was born November 21, 1946, in New Kensington, to the late Clifford, Sr., and Blanche (Schafer) Sharer.
He served in the Army from 1967- 1969 and was employed as a mechanic for Allegheny Teledyne in Brackenridge for almost 40 years. He was a member of Tyrian Lodge #644 Free and Accepted Masons of New Kensington, and was a 32nd degree mason at the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Pittsburgh.  He enjoyed wood working and built many things, loved antiquing, traveling, and spending time outdoors camping, biking, and kayaking.
Clifford and his late wife bought and sold antiques in Holiday Park and New Kensington at locations shared with other antique shops.
Survivors include his daughter Elesa A. Sharer of Burleson, TX, sister Ethel Blumetti (Donald), and grandchildren Lauren, Leah, and Ryan Kopp. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann C. Russell Sharer, brother Ronald S. Sharer, and sister Carol Findley.
Viewing will be on Thursday, June 8, from 5-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Barry Leicher officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Leechburg.
