Charles Francis Marchlewski Jr., 90, of Logan’s Ferry Heights, Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
“Sunday, our family said goodbye to our patriarch - the man who built the foundation everything else rests on.
He was the steady hand, the wise voice, the one who showed us what it meant to show up - for family, for the people you love, for the life you’re building. His stories shaped us. His lessons live in us. His love holds us together even now, especially now.
Losing him leaves a silence that can’t be filled. But it also leaves a legacy that can’t be taken - in everyone of us he raised, guided, and called his own.
Rest easy, Pap We love you & will carry you with us always.” Love from the family.
He was born in Logan’s Ferry on August 14, 1935 to the late Charles Sr., and Marcella Bolubasz Marchlewski, graduated from Plum High School in 1953, then joined the US Navy Seabees during the Korean Conflict, serving on the then new satellite station in Cuba.
Mr. Marchlewski was a lifetime member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington.
