Catherine Ruth (Gray) Foeks

Catherine Ruth Foeks, 80, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.  

She was born July 23, 1945, in Indiana (PA) to the late Robert L. & Velma Heasley Gray, was a 1963 graduate of Kiski High School and also attended New Kensington Commercial School. 

Mrs. Foeks was a clerk at several local retail stores including Ames, Hills and Walmart where she was department head of the crafts department.  

She enjoyed crafts, baking, gardening, watching the Steelers, and spending time with her family and her pets.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 61 years, Alfred Russell Foeks; children, Gary Russell (Teresa) Foeks of Vandergrift, Gail Renae Foeks of Plum, Joyce Leigh (Foeks) Dzugan of Arnold, and Ronald Paul (Christine) Foeks of Vandergrift; grandchildren, Timothy James Foeks, Brittany Nicole Foeks, William Ronald Foeks, Phillip Michael Foeks, Richard, Ashley & Christopher Dzugan, David Akscyn Jr., and Timothy Jones; and great-grandchildren, Russell Christopher Green, and Gavyn & Graydon Foeks; and brother, Thomas (Mary Ann) Gray of Bethel Park.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, William & Connie Gray; and grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Dzugan, John Robert Dzugan and Kristen Kathleen Schuffert.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 9AM until services at 11AM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
