Carol Jeanne (Hale) Kenney

Carol Jeanne (Hale) Kenney, 64, of Tarentum passed away, unexpectedly, in her home on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
 
She was born in New Kensington, PA, on May 7, 1960 to the late Carl Alexander Hale, Sr., and Mildred (Luster) Hale.
 
Carol was a devoted and proud mother and grandmother. She was looking forward to being a great-grandmother for the first time this spring. She was a valued employee of Bayer Industries in Indianola for more than 30 years. Carol was a daily example of employee workplace excellence and dedication. In her own unique way, she reached out to others spreading happiness and inspiration. Friendly and with her quiet nature, she was loved by her co-workers and all she came into contact with.
 
Carol enjoyed music, going to concerts with co-workers and live bands, watching scary movies, online shopping (she was the Amazon Queen) and spending time with her family.  
 
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Kenney, sister Rev. Shirley Anne Hale; and brothers Rev. Theodore A. Hale, Sr., and Carl A. Hale, Jr.
 
She leaves to mourn her loss 2 daughters, Marquietta Alexis Hale, Tarentum, PA and Channelle Lynn Hale of New Kensington, PA, 6 grandchildren Paige Alexis Thies, Peyton Janae Thies, King Savion Hale, Gemyla Dalynn Johnson, Madison Rose Wade, Zariah Aryn Hale, 2 sisters Ada Melinda Staten and Pamela (Harold) Macon, nephews, Edward Jenkins, Elliott Jenkins, Rev. Jeremiah (Rebecca) Gillespie, Kent Staten; neice, Jacyntia Staten; great niece, Ava and nephews Liam and Jordan Gillespie; Her life-long friends Anna Disiena, Judy Gibson and Louise Hughes and bonus daughters Ashante Walker, Liz Hatajik, Teresa Collins and a host of cousins and friends.  

 
Viewing and services will be held at the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12 Noon.  Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
