Carol Ganss Obituary

Carol Jean (Wilson) Ganss, 58, of Allegheny Township passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. She was born December 22, 1962 in Dorseyville to the late M. Franklin and Editch Oppenlander Wilson.

Carol was a graduate of Fox Chapel High School Class of 1981. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 533, and past worthy president of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Christmas time, family vacations to Erie, PA, summertime cook outs, and all other family gatherings. She loved spending time with her beloved grandson, Colden.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband of eight years, David A. Ganss; daughter, Breanna (Phillip) Novick; grandson, Colden Novick; brother, Jim (Susan) Wilson; sister-in-law, Sandy (David) Krapp; brother-in-law, Alfred (Mary Mays) Ganss Jr.; mother-in-law, Shirley Falkowski; multiple nieces, nephews, great, and great-great; and her two baby cats, Buzzy and Betty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Blake Novick; and brother, Gary Franklin.
