Carol Lee Boney, 81, of Plum Borough died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was born December 29, 1940 in Wilkinsburg to the late Robert and Ruth (Stewart) Bent.
Carol was a true lover of nature and whether she was horse back riding, walking in the park, playing with her dogs, or creating memories with her family, she embraced being outdoors. She was creative and a talented crafter spending time making diamond dotz masterpieces with her sister, Linda, but above all, Carol loved being a mother. This was her greatest role in her life and she led her family with patience, warmth, and grace. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering deep devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren, her kind smile and spirited personality, and ultimately the tender love she gave.
She is survived by her three beloved children, Robert “Bob” (Renee Roman) Boney, Thomas “Tom” (Charlene) Boney, and Denise (Ed) Kruse; her cherished grandchildren, Danielle & Rachael Boney, TJ & Austin Boney, Amanda (Terrence) Dunlap, and Michael Jr. & Andrew (Amanda) Boney; her sister, Linda Viola; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Andrew Boney; her beloved son Michael Boney; precious granddaughter Kaitlyn Boney; brothers Robert & Richard Bent; and sister Jean Rhine.
Private burial was held at Plum Creek Cemetery. Ross G. Walker Funeral Home Ltd., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington was entrusted with the arrangements. Please visit www.rossgwalker.com to share a memory of Carol.
