Carmelina Marie DeSocio

Our Beloved Aunt, Carmelina Marie DeSocio, 97, of Arnold passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was born July 16, 1924 to the late Lodovico and Assunta (Paladino) DeSocio.

Carm resided in Arnold her entire life and worked for over 20 years as an Office Administrator at Citizen’s General Hospital. She was a lifelong member of Mt. St. Peter Parish. Aunt Carm was always reliable and helpful in caring for and getting her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews where they needed to be. She was a fabulous baker and cook and worked wonders in her kitchen, especially her homemade pizzelles in a metal tin that everyone loved. 

She is survived by her nephew, Joseph DeSocio Jr.; niece, Dana L. DeSocio; great nieces and nephews, Luigi F. (Lauren Torres) DeSocio, Nicholas B. DeSocio, and Georgee Lucia DeSocio; and sister-in-law, Antoinette DeSocio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Franzina DeSocio, Joseph DeSocio Sr., and Louise Siegworth; and nephew, Louis DeSocio.
