Carlos E. Jackson

Carlos E. “Heart” Jackson, 77, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

He was born in New Kensington on August 26, 1946 to the late Frederick & Barbara Clark Jackson.

Carlos attended Ken-Hi and was a laborer in the construction industry for many years. He loved going to church and hearing the word of Jesus.

Carlos was an artist, an avid Steelers fan, and he enjoyed barbecuing on his grill. Heart was very well known in the Alle-Kiski area for the many community events that he sponsored for children.

Carlos is survived by his children, LaReese Jackson and Carlynn (David Jr.) Graves; a host of cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Carmella Jackson-Cheatham and Amanda Evans.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Carlos Howard.  

Viewing will be in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington on Sunday, March 10, from 2PM until services at 4PM.  Reverend Helen Burton will officiate.
