Brian Edward McCormick

Brian Edward McCormick, 60, of Allegheny Township, passed away of injuries received in an automobile accident in Upper Burrell Township on Friday, December 5, 2025.

He was born in Philadelphia on July 25, 1965 to the late Thomas A. and Regina M. Rooney McCormick, and lived in the Alle-Kiski Valley for the past 20 years.  He proudly served in the United States Navy for six years, and was a fire sprinkler fitter and installer for the past 20 years.  Before moving to the valley, he owned several pizza shops in the Philadelphia area. 

Brian is survived by his wife of 23 years, Denise A. Henwood Laurelli-McCormick; children Anthony (Marissa) Laurelli, James McCormick (Kate Hank), and Alexis (Sgt. David) Troup; grandchildren Anthony, Selena, Aaliyah, Liam, Kobe and Luca; and siblings, John (Eileen) Rooney, Lisa M. Rooney, Thomas A. “Tucker” McCormick, Jr., and Tricia Curico White.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Kevin M. Rooney & Maria Manosis Colantonio.

Visitation 11AM until a funeral outside of Mass at 12 NOON on Saturday, December 13, 2025, followed by military honors conducted by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard.  All services faithfully served and respectfully conducted at ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
