Beverly Jean Misak, 73, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Sept. 14, 2023.
She was born April 15, 1950 in New Kensington to the late James M. “Scotty” & Anna Marie Golavich Simpson, was a graduate of Plum High School, and worked as a buyer for the Giant Eagle corporate offices in RIDC Park for 43 years.
Beverly enjoyed traveling, shopping, lunch with her friends, going to the YMCA, craft shows and was a collector of shoes.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles W. Misak; brother James M. Simpson, Jr.; nieces, Tammy (Dustin) Gentile, Lisa (Jim) Zaremba, Jaime Simpson and Nadine Virag; nephew Tim (Crystal) Cichello; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; and her puppy, Radar.
Viewing will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Monday at 10AM, by Rev. Dean Ward. Burial will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Borough.
