Barbara Ann Keibler, 71, loving wife, mother, and grandmother of Upper Burrell Twp. died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021. She was born in New Kensington on Sept. 12, 1950 to the late Edward and Elsie Hrosko Kaminski.
She was a graduate of Valley High School Class of 1968; and was a social member of the VFW Post 92 and the Kinloch Fire Hall. Barbara held a steadfast work ethic and was an accomplished sales manager for Key Bellevilles Inc. in Leechburg. She had a knack for scratch off tickets and betting her odds at the casino with her mom and daughter. Barbara was innovative and had a talent for creating beautiful vegetable and flower gardens around her home and was exquisite in the kitchen, crafting incredible culinary dishes during the holidays and special occasions, making everyone feel welcome. Her true passion was her family and spending time with her five grandchildren; this is the role where she was most dedicated and devoted never missing any of their extra-curricular activities including dance recitals, where she affectionately would say she was taking in the “arts” and getting her “culture.” Barbara took time to be present and live in the moment each and every day, and one never forgot how she made you feel.
She will be so deeply missed and forever remembered for her warm spirit, pure compassion for her family and friends, and tender heart. She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, David G. Keibler; children, Darcy (Anthony Bakos) Hall, Jennifer (Ryan McCall) Keibler, David (Marla) Keibler, and Andrew “Ed” (Carrie Miller) Hall; grandchildren, Edward Hall, Chloe Isanhart, Makayla Keibler, Hannah Keibler, and Emma Keibler; and two siblings, Elaine (Robert) Resh and Ellen (Blaise Grden) Kaminski.
Viewing will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at Ross G.
