Obituary

Anna Smith, 89, of West Deer Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

She was born in Pittsburgh on June 17, 1933 to Mr. & Mrs. Jaworski, and was a long time resident of West Deer Township.  

Anna was an inspector for H.J. Heinz Co., Pittsburgh.  

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Smith Sr.; and a brother Joseph Jaworski.  

Survivors include her children, Donna (Harry) Schreckengost, Charles  (Linda) Smith Jr. and Debbie Grondwalski; grandchildren, Lisa, Loren, Michelle, Bre, Connie and David; and great-grandchildren, Destini, Colten and Logan.  

Viewing will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 5-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Private burial will be in Bakerstown Cemetery, Gibsonia.
