Ajeana “Jeannie” Schuler, 62, of New Kensington passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital with her babies by her side. She was a daughter of the late Dorothy Knuckles.
Jeannie was born in New Kensington and lived her whole life within the community. She graduated from Valley High School in 1977 and belonged to Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church. Jeannie "Mimi" most importantly loved spending time with and talking to her best friend and grandson Cyncere, time with Chaz, Cerenity, family, friends, and her church family, watching home improvement shows, playing her hand-held games, sitting outside with her neighbors who played a huge part in her life. She was everyone's Aunt Jeannie!
Survivors include her son, Chaz (Amanda) Wilburn; her grandchildren, Cyncere and Cerenity; brothers, Byron (Cindy) Schuler of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and Joey (Lorna) Schuler of Newport News, VA; sisters, Patsy Diggs of Cleveland, OH, Debbie Schuler of Pittsburgh, Linda Schuler of Norwalk, CT, and Melanie Schuler of New Kensington; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and truly a whole neighborhood who loves and misses her daily presence.
Ms. Schuler is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Knuckles; her sister, Gwendolyn Schuler; her nephew, Monte Schuler; her grandson, CayVior; and many of other friends and family who greeted her when she arrived in Heaven.
Friend and family will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Ross G. Walker Funeral Home Ltd., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
