Vikki R. Brown

Vikki Renee (Pryor) Brown, 47, of Johnstown, PA, took her place at the heavenly banquet table on Friday, May 18, 2018.  Vikki was born on July 26, 1970 in New Kensington, to Vernell Pryor and the late Trudy (Thrower) Carvin.   She graduated from Valley High School in New Kensington in 1988 and Career Training Academy in 1993 with a diploma in Medical Assistance.  She was most recently employed by Convergys in Johnstown.  She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Johnstown, PA.  She served on numerous committees and enjoyed attending small group studies at the church. Along with her father, Vikki is survived by her loving husband Aubrey (Art) Brown, three stepsons and five stepdaughters, step mother Rhonda Blakey-Pryor of New Kensington, PA, brothers Ross Pryor of Washington, PA, Vernell Pryor, Jr. of New Kensington, PA, and sister Ashley (Tosha) Lane of Coatesville.  In addition to her mother, Vikki was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Henry and Bernice Thrower and paternal grandparents James and Ineller Stone. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5-8 pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Asa W. Roberts Way (formerly known as 1150 Fourth Avenue) New Kensington. The Rev. Dr. Randall W. Bain, Pastor of Oakland United Methodist Church in Johnstown will officiate.
