Santa Marie “Bebe” Tortorete, 85, of the Regency Park section of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2017.She was born November 18, 1931 in Lawrenceville, to the late Joseph & Jennie Bosch Scolaro. Mrs. Tortorete was a supervisor in the Community Market Deli in Penn Hills for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was a parishioner of St. John Baptist Church in Plum, and enjoyed Polka, watching soap operas on television, was an avid fan of Patrick Swayze, and had tea and toast daily.  Her favorite film was Dirty Dancing.  Surviving are her two daughters, Suzanna (Scott) Masartis of Ross Township, and Paula R. Tortorete, with whom she lived; granddaughter, Vannessa A. (Kevin) Savona; and three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Aiden and Bella Savona; as well as four siblings, Gloria Konop, Joseph and Philip Scolaro, and Patricia Stahl.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Tortorete who died in 1993; and a brother, Geno Scolaro. Visitation will be on Friday, September 29, 2017, from 6-8 PM, in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD, 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Burial will be in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Borough.
