Ortegro Lamont Bentz

Ortegro “Phat Man” Lamont Bentz, 45, of New Kensington passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2019. He was born May 31, 1974, in New Kensington to Willis “Honcho” Davis and Jean Bentz.

Ortegro was a 1991 graduate of Valley High School and attended ITT Tech. He worked at various restaurants, including TGI Fridays and Appleby’s. He enjoyed golf, poker, football, barbecuing, and his truck.

Ortegro is survived by his sister, Rosella J. Williams; brother, Willis E. Bentz; sons, Trequan Bentz and Jaydyn Jaxon Miller; companion, Alissa Johns; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
