Marilyn L. Gross, 78, of New Kensington passed away peacefully Friday, November 2, 2018. She was born January 24, 1940, in New Kensington to the late Joseph and Sarah (Ross) Pisano.
She was a lifetime member of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington. Marilyn worked as a teacher aide for the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit for 31 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Lawrence W. Gross; daughter, Maria (Thomas) Johnson, of Parks Township; son, Randall Campitella, of Lower Burrell; grandchildren, Thomas J. (Erika) Wyant Jr. of Cartersville, GA and Daniel R. Wyant of New Kensington; sister, Rosetta Lecocq, of Lower Burrell; step-children, Lori L. Gross, of Frederick, MD, Kristi K. Gross, of Germantown, MD, and Stacy L. (Todd) Benedict, of Coral Springs, FL; and step-grandchildren, Akiea C. Gross, Sienna Benedict, and Tegan Benedict.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Vincent Pisano.
Visitation will be Sunday Nov. 4 from 2 to 5pm in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 5 at 10:00am. The Rev. Robert Lecocq, pastor of Burrell Community Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
