Bruno George Audo, 92, of New Kensington, beloved patriarch of our family, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
Born June 1, 1926 in Leechburg, to the late Frank & Angelina Fossati Audo, he was a 1945 graduate of Leechburg High School, and moved to New Kensington in 1955.
Mr. Audo loved music and taught all of the reed instruments. He played with the Glenn Miller Band.
He was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington, and belonged to the Musicians Local #630.
Survivors include his beloved son, Dino J. (Elizabeth) Audo of Butler; and three adored grandchildren, Kyle (Shannon) Audo & Andrew Audo, and Carlo (Lindsey) Morando; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Lilli Beth & Bennett Morando; and brother-in-law Edward (Sandy) Mangini.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Lorraine Mangini Audo in 2002.
Viewing will be on Sunday, January 13, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held Monday at 9:30a followed by a funeral Mass at 10a in Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Boro.
