Brandi N. Howell

Brandi Nicole Howell, 34, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2017. She was born January 31, 1983 at Eglin AFB in Florida to Charles Edward Howell Jr. of Rocklin, CA and Dawana Givens Howell of Hollister, MO. Ms. Howell graduated from Valley High School in New Kensington and was a phlebotomist for UPMC Mercy Hospital for almost 15 years. Besides her parents she is survived by her children, Jaylen Nicole Thomas and Nicolus Braeden Anderson; paternal grandmother, Mattie Brooks; paternal grandfather Charles E. Howell Sr.; maternal grandmother Dorma Givens; her aunt, Jana Graves; uncle Michael Howell;Aunt Lynn Howell; cousins, Ian Graves; and Justin Roher. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Earl Givens; great-grandmother, Margaret McBride, her paternal grandfather, Robert Brooks; and uncle Michael Graves; uncle Steve Givens; and her Aunt Rhonda Western. Viewing will be on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  A funeral service will be on Saturday at 11 AM in Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1150 Asa W. Roberts Way (formerly Fourth Avenue), New Kensington.  Burial will be private.
