Betty Jane Foust, 88, of Lower Burrell passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Born April 19, 1930, in Pittsburgh to the late Frank and Helen (Birx) Rudolph.
She worked as a cosmetologist in New Kensington and also from her home. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She was an avid reader and Steeler fan. Betty was a passionate member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Natrona Heights and spent many years volunteering with the Meals on Wheels in Lower Burrell and as an Adult Literacy Teacher through the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches.
Survivors include her children, Diane L. (William) Faix of Natrona Heights, Dane R. (Gretchen) Foust of Maryland, and Eric O. Foust of Renfrew; and her grandchildren, Derek and Alyssa Foust.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack G. Foust and her siblings, Dolores Krey, Nancy Wockley, and a brother in infancy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3 at 11 a.m. in Grace United Methodist Church, 1333 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights where friends will be received two hours prior, beginning at 9 a.m. Rev. Dr. Andrew P. Spore will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may contribute to the Grace United Methodist Church of Natrona Heights. ROSS G.
