Amelia M Sicilia

Amelia M. Sicilia, “Toots”, 84, of Elmtree Road, New Kensington, died peacefully Saturday, February 24, 2018, in Harmar Village Care Center, Cheswick. She was born April 25, 1933 to the late Frank and Amelia Sicilia, and was the last surviving of 12 twelve children.  She was preceded in death by six brothers: Pete, Ralph, Mickey, Michael, Frank, and James, and five sisters: Carmella, Mary, Stella, Josephine, and Dora . “Toots” was strong in her faith and a devoted member of Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington.  She retired from Gulf Research, after working as a mapping technician for 28 years.  She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be Wednesday Feb 28th at 12 noon in Mount St. Peter Church with Monsignor Begolly presiding.  Burial will follow immediately at Union Cemetery, Arnold.    Anyone attending the mass is asked to please go directly to the Church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions celebrating Amelia’s life can be made to: Mount St. Peter Church 100 Freeport Rd. New Kensington, PA 15068.  All arrangements entrusted to ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
