Sharon L. Johnson

Sharon L. Johnson, 79, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on November 18, 1937 to the late Isaac & Mary Hardaway Abraham, and was a long time New Kensington resident.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church of New Kensington and was a waitress at several area restaurants, including the Eat’n Park and the Arden.

She is survived by her children, Thomas C. Johnson of Logans Ferry, Plum, Jody L. Johnson of New Kensington, Lisa (Duane) Marshall of Harrisburg; nephews,Bobby (Yolanda) Abraham and Michael (Patty) Abraham;  grandchildren, and Lindsay, Cory (fiance Jamie) and Bobby; and great-grandchildren, Mallory, Carly, Priya and Faith; and Jessica (Ron) Hogan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Abraham.

Viewing will be Saturday, March 25, from 1 PM until services at 3 PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Her pastor, Father Meletios Zafaran will conduct the service.  Burial will be private.  To leave an online condolence visit www.rossgwalker.com.
