Samuel E Behanna

Samuel E. Behanna Jr., 83, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2017. He was born in Plum Boro on March 11, 1934 to the late Samuel E. Sr. and Ella McKim Behanna.  He attended Ken-Hi and served in the 101st Airborne in the Army. Sam was a fabricator for PPG Industries for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He is survived by his wife Lois Jean Fox Behanna whom he married June 1, 1963; his children, Samuel E. (Sandra) Behanna III, Kevin (Sherrie) Behanna, Bonnie Behanna, Marshall Kimberly) McKallip III, Marsha (William) Dimmitt; and daughter in law Faye Behanna;15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and his sister, Margaret Behanna Miller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Alan J. Behanna; and twin infant grandchildren. At the request of Mr. Behanna, there will be a private celebration of life at a future date. ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., of New Kensington was entrusted with the care of the Behanna family.
