Ronald R. Rall

Ronald R. Rall, 68, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017, in his home. He was born on May 5, 1948 in  Pittsburgh, to the late Elwood and Dorothy Perine Rall and was a  shipping/receiving specialist  for  the University  of  Pittsburgh.  He later worked  at  Childrens’ Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mr. Rall proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers,  WWE Wrestling and solving crossword puzzles. Surviving are his five children, Ronald, Christine, Joseph, April and Janet; six grandchildren, Robbie, Rachael, Jason, Kara, Zach and Sophia; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Isabella; and three   sisters, Arlene, Jean and  Linda. Besides  his  parents,  he was  preceded in  death  by his  wife, Margaret,  in 2014; brother  Bob  and  sister Mary. Viewing will be  on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8  PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217  Freeport Road, New Kensington, where  a service will be held Friday at 10 AM, by Rev. Carmen Butler.  Military  honors  accorded by the Vandergrift  Veterans  Honor Guard will follow the service at the funeral home. Private burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies next week.
