Robert Majocha

Robert M. Majocha, 76, of Allegheny Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.  He was born March 29, 1940 in New Kensington to the late Matthew & Helena Shank Majocha, and was a 1958 graduate of Freeport High School, and received an associate degree from  Point Park College.  Mr. Majocha was owner and operator of Michael Howard Fencing Inc. in Verona for 40 years.  He attended First United Methodist Church of New Kensington and enjoyed his business, his family, and collecting Corvettes.  He is survived by his wife Sandra Cooper Majocha; sons, Jeffrey (Shelley) Majocha and Jamison “Jamie” (Sandra “Sandy”) Majocha, both of Upper Burrell Township; five grandchildren, Zachary, Cassandra, Damian, Amanda and Shawn; 10 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Chester, Donald and Arthur.  The family wishes to thank Parnassus Medical Associates and Dr. Thomas Litz for their wonderful care. Viewing will be 2-4 & 6-8 on Thursday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Friday at 11 AM. Rev. Sharon Waltenbaugh will conduct the service.  Private burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
