Milena McNicholas

Milena McNicholas, 85, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.She was born in Pittsburgh on November 19, 1931, to the late Sam & Milka Mamula Wujnovich, and was a graduate of South Pittsburgh High School. She was a longtime member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Kensington and was a librarian for the Carnegie Libraries of Pittsburgh for several years. Surviving are her children, David McNicholas, Nancy (Darrell) Troast, Amy (William) Kroll, Steven McNicholas and Chris (Carol) McNicholas; her sister Mary Cheran; and nine grandchildren, Lindsey, Alexandra, Hannah, Samantha, Rebecca, Mai Linh, Leo, Jetta and Nova.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leo M. McNicholas on November 17, 2016; and siblings, Milan and Nicholas Wujnovich, Ruby Miller and Anna Harkins.A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 7PM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenneth & Ridge Avenues, New Kensington.  Rev. Alfred S. Petrill will preside at the service.  Friends will be received one hour prior to the time of service.  ROSS G.
