Michael Raiford Obituary

Michael A. Raiford, 30, of Penn Hills and formerly of New Kensington, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Born in Pittsburgh on April 21, 1987, to Stephen A. Raiford Sr. of Penn Hills and the late Darlene Etta Reid, he was affiliated with the federal Job Corps Program but most of his life was a landscaper. He was just hired by PNC Park through their supplier Aramark and was slated to start work there May 1. Besides his father, he is survived by his step-mother, Joan Pollard Raiford; his daughter, Marlena Darlene Raiford; two brothers, Stephen A. Raiford, Jr., and his wife, Jessica, of New Kensington, and Jason Donald Raiford, and his wife Caryn of Natrona Heights; two nieces, Aliyah and Jalyn. Viewing will be on Thursday, April 19 from 10AM until services at 12 Noon in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
