Matthew J. Ban

Matthew J. Ban, 25, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2017. He was born April 30, 1992 in Pittsburgh, to Suzanne M. Greer-Ban, of Arnold and the late Matthew Ban. Matthew was a restaurant helper and also worked as a landscaper.  He was artistically inclined and enjoyed music and drawing. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother Peter Julius Dominici; maternal grandparents, Lois and Richard Greer; and aunts and uncles, Carol & Billy Reese, Janice Dominici, Michelle Meade, Lori, Richard & Archie Greer, Maureen & Woody Swigart, and several cousins, especially Julia Tresco and Cory Swigart, with whom he had a special bond with.Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Peter Dominici; and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Ban.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 18, from 6PM until services at 8PM in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington.  Rev. Dean Ward, pastor of The River - A Community Church will officiate at the service. Burial will be private.
