Marlene V. Fenner, 70, of Arnold, passed away peacefully and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was born Sept. 18, 1945, in New Kensington, to the late Edward and Blaudna Campbell Stone, and was a graduate of Ken-Hi. Mrs. Fenner was a faithful member of The River - A Community Church of New Kensington. She loved serving God, enjoyed her church family and cherished the time with her MNBS girls. She loved her children and enjoyed spending time with and babysitting her grandchildren. Marlene was owner and founder of "Mom's Kitchen" - a catering service. Surviving are her beloved husband of 45 years, Frederick E. "Fritz" Fenner; children, Marlena M. Freynik, Shawn F. (Alisha) Fenner, Brett E. (Jennifer) Fenner and Corinne L. (Brian) Baker, all of New Kensington and Lower Burrell; grandchildren, Noah, Kari, Jadyn, Charlee, Mackenzie, Isaiah, Chase, Kendel and Cruze; and her brother, Dale (Kathy) Stone, of New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Gloria Kiely, Howard "Fuzzy" Stone, Don Stone, Walter "Skinny" Stone, Clarence Stone, John Stone, Ed Stone and Laura Heavner.
Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, by her pastor, the Rev. Dean Ward. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
