Flora Hess

Flora C. Hess, 90, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6, 2017. She was born March 24, 1927 in Warren, Ohio, to the late James & Blanche Brown Leisure, and was a long-time New Kensington resident. Mrs. Hess was a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone company in New Kensington. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed camping at Moraine Campgrounds.Surviving are her children, Allan E. (Pamela) Hess of Leechburg, Ronald K. (Cindy) Hess of Cody, WY, and Cynthia H. (Bruce) Davis of New Kensington; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and she had three sisters and a brother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William J. Hess; her son, William J. Hess Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Angel Hess. Services and burial were private and were entrusted to ROSS G.
