Earle C. Furniss

Earle H. “Duke” Furniss, 76, of Brackenridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was born October 5, 1939, in Pittsburgh, to the late Earle & Lillian Furniss and was an Alle-Kiski Valley resident most of his life. He was also preceded in death by his brother Harry, and wife Linda. Duke worked for PPG Creighton as a glass cutter for 38 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and shooting pool. He was the manager of “The Spot” in Creighton and The Terrace Hotel in New Kensington. Surviving are his significant other, Dori Dzierzynski, and many friends.
