Dorothy J Albert

Dorothy J. “Dottie” Albert, 93, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan, 22, 2018.  She was born January 15, 1925 in Oakmont to  the late Tewflick & Almosa Antoon Khoury and graduated from Har-Brack High school, and Duff’s Business Institute.Dottie was a secretary for Pittsburgh Public Schools for 25 years, retiring in 1994.  She also was a waitress for the Parnassus Eat’n’Park for 40 years.  She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, cooking, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Michael James (Becki) Albert of Memphis, TN, Gregory Paul (Susan) Albert of Nazareth, James Charles (Traci) Albert of LaGrange, GA, and Barry Lee Albert of Williamsburg, VA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Justin, Andrew, Chad, David, Derek, and John Paul; and a great-grandson, David. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Buddy, Luffey, Edward M. Khoury, Katherine Edwards, and loving daughter-in- law Donna Marie (Zorch) Albert. Friends and Family will be received from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday Jan. 25, 2018 and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday Jan. 26, 2018 at Ross G. Walker Funeral Home LTD. 217 Freeport Road New Kensington.  A funeral mass will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday Jan. 26, 2018 at St. George Orthodox Church, Leishman Avenue.  Entombment will immediately follow at Mt.
